Prescott City Council has appointed Tyler Goodman as the Interim City Manager.PRESCOTT, AZ (February 16, 2024) — Prescott City Council voted unanimously today (5-0) to name Tyler Goodman Interim City Manager, effective immediately. In December, 2023 City Manager Katie Gregory resigned her position. Goodman has served as acting City manager since that time.

Goodman was named Deputy City Manager in January of 2022. He was raised in Prescott and began working for the City in February 2016 after serving a two-year church mission in Argentina and attending two universities. He holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University. He is a member of both the International City/County Manager Association and the Arizona City/County Manager Association.

The City of Prescott is working with executive search firm Columbia ltd to conduct and manage the nationwide search for a new permanent City Manager.
