Beginning Farmer’s Workshop Offered by the University of Arizona Yavapai County Cooperative Extension
This workshop is part of a series designed for small-scale, market farmers in Yavapai County to increase profitability and explore new methods of production/distribution. Topics to be covered include: Local Food Center vs. Farmers Market: Competitors or Complementary?; USDA Resources to Protect Your Farm Business, Historic Farming in the Prescott Area; Localfresh.info as a Planning/Marketing Resource; and Discussion of Future Program Needs/Directions. Presentations will be given by Dr. Russ Tronstad and Jeff Schalau.
