For 30 years, Artful Eye Jewelers has been Prescott’s trusted hometown jeweler, located in the heart of Whiskey Row in beautiful downtown Prescott.
Owner Cara says, “As a kid, I loved growing up in Prescott.” She earned a bachelor’s degree in equine science from the University of Arizona and spent several years working for large animal veterinarians. Eventually, she returned to Prescott to join the family business.
Over the years, Cara has immersed herself in the jewelry world — attending trade shows nationwide, learning the intricacies of the industry and becoming a certified diamond grader through the Gemological Institute of America. She eventually purchased Artful Eye Jewelers and has even become a national award-winning jewelry designer. Cara has been with the business for 19 years, and she says, “As a custom jewelry designer, my favorite part of my job is taking old, broken or unwanted jewelry and transforming it into pieces our customers love to wear again.”
