Cheryl Lough and her husband Michael founded MCK Woodworks in 1998, driven by a passion for woodworking and a commitment to quality. What began as a custom cabinetry shop has grown into a thriving business serving homes across the Quad Cities and beyond, known for high-quality American craftsmanship.
A Prescott-area native, Cheryl has deep community roots and extensive experience running a small business. She brings strategic leadership, a positive attitude and sound decision-making to her work, serving both customers and her team with care.
She is committed to excellent work and values the skilled expertise that helps clients personalize their homes through fine woodworking. Cheryl feels honored to work alongside the MCK Woodworks Team, whom she views as respected industry leaders and admired colleagues.
Cheryl is the mother of
four children and grandmother of four grandchildren. She enjoys time with her family and serving at church.
As an active NFIB member, Cheryl advocates for strong support of small businesses nationwide. Through NFIB meetings and discussions with business members and leaders, she continues learning while sharing insight from a small-business perspective. She also serves on the Badger Athletic Booster Board at Prescott High School, helping strengthen all sports booster clubs. Her involvement reflects a strong commitment to community, leadership, and service to local causes.
