City Seeks New Board and Commission Applications for a Variety of Openings
PRESCOTT, AZ (June 1, 2018) – The City Council Subcommittee for Appointments is now accepting applications for citizens who are interested in serving on a City of Prescott Board, Commission, or Committee (BCC). Appointment terms vary depending on the type of BCC. Appointments will be made in July 2018.
The city is currently seeking applications for the following Boards, Commissions and Committees:

Tourism Advisory Committee | 03/2018 – 03/2020 | No |
Note: The Tourism Advisory Committee requires a representative actively working within the hospitality industry in area. The Advisory and Appeals Board requires representation from the following expertise: building, electrical, mechanical and plumbing.
Boards, commissions and committees provide opportunities for citizens to take an active role in their local government. Members are appointed by the Mayor and/or City Council. If there are more applicants than seats, the City Council Subcommittee for Appointments will review applications and sometimes conduct interviews with candidates in order to make recommendations to the City Council for appointment.
Applications are due to the city by Friday June 29, 2018.
