City of Prescott – FY20 Pavement Preservation Project

The City of Prescott and their contractor, Cactus Asphalt, are currently working on a pavement preservation project along selected roadways and alleyways throughout the Prescott area. The preservation process consists of removing existing roadways, rebuilding the subgrade with recycled roadway material, and installing new chip seal and PMM or asphalt. Additional work includes adjusting utilities to the finished road grade and restoring any disturbed traffic striping.

Once complete, these improvements will extend pavement life and improve the ride quality for Prescott motorists. The project is scheduled to be complete in fall 2020.

PAVEMENT PRESERVATION PREPARATION TO CONTINUE
