Advisory groups, boards, commissions and committees provide opportunities for citizens to take an active role in their local government. Members are appointed by the Mayor and/or City Council. If there are more applicants than seats, the City Council Appointment Committee will review applications and sometimes conduct interviews with candidates in order to make recommendations to the full council for appointment.
Applications are due to the city by December 30, 2017.
