Between now and December 31st of this year, the Phippen Museum is inviting all Arizona teachers to come and enjoy the museum and its outstanding collections of western art and history free of charge on Sundays from 1 to 4PM. Just show proof of school employment and the Phippen museum and its resources will be available during normal operating hours on Sundays throughout the end of 2018; with no restrictions on the number of visits allowed.
So take advantage of this special offer while the museum says “thank you” to Arizona educators with free museum admission. And while you’re there, be sure to find out more about their youth art workshops, Clay Out West Youth Sculpture Contest in October, museum outreach programs offered to local classrooms and free bus transportation to the museum for pre-arranged student tours. For more information, please call the museum’s Education Coordinator, Neal McEwen at (928)778-1385.
