The City of Prescott and their contractor, Sunland Asphalt & Construction, Inc., is set to begin pavement rehabilitation work along Willow Creek Road and Gail Gardner Way the week of September 10. Improvements include the removal and replacement of existing asphalt pavement along Gail Gardner Way, from Iron Springs Road to Willow Creek Road, and along Willow Creek Road, from Mitchell Road to the intersection of Green Lane and Pulliam Drive. Additional work includes replacing handicap ramps, sidewalks, and curb and gutter as needed.
Once complete, these improvements will extend pavement life and improve the driving surface for motorists well into the future. The project is scheduled for completion in fall 2018.

Starting Sunday night, asphalt paving operations will begin along Gail Gardner Way from Iron Springs Road to Willow Creek Road.

Sunday, September 30 through Monday, October 1, 6 p.m. – 5 a.m.
Gail Gardner Way will be closed to through traffic, from Iron Springs Road to Willow Creek Road, while paving operations are underway.

Work will occur throughout all times of the day, however, traffic control will be adjusted to accommodate for rush hour traffic. Please be aware of turning and lane restrictions, reduced speeds, rough road conditions, and flagging operations throughout the work zone. Side streets along Willow Creek Road will only be accessible via right turn in and right turn out, as left turn movements will be restricted during paving operations. One lane of traffic will remain open in both directions, however, motorists should allow for extra time to get through the area and use an alternate route if possible.
