It’s your big day, so why not have it go down in history as the perfect first day of the rest of your life? Imagine your wedding in the beautiful Hotel St. Michael’s Crystal Ballroom where the Old West melds with graceful Victorian architecture. Tall arched windows, high ornate-metal ceilings and glossy, hardwood floors provide a one-of-a-kind setting for traditional elegant or modern-themed wedding ceremonies and receptions.
The spirit of the Old West still thrives here in the historic Hotel St. Michael located at the center of downtown Prescott. Originally named the Hotel Burke, the building was built in late 1891 by Dennis Burke and Michael Hickey, who sought to bring some elegance to the Wild West. By 1895 the owners had added another story to the building, boasting that it was “fireproof.” In 1900, a fire leveled the entire block of Whiskey Row, including the Hotel Burke. The hotel was rebuilt as it is today and then renamed St. Michael by his partner after Michael Hickey died in 1909.
The Hotel St. Michael now stands proud, as it has for over 100 years, on the corner of famed Whiskey Row and Gurley Street. It is right across from the iconic Prescott Courthouse Plaza, with its beautiful green lawns and tall, shady elm trees, making it a truly unique and romantic setting for wedding ceremonies and photos.
The Crystal Ballroom accommodates up to 225 guests for theater-style seating or 150 for a formal dinner. Ask about our affordable and customizable packages. So, whether you call Prescott home or think of it as a dream destination, please consider the Hotel St. Michael as the perfect place to celebrate your special day!
