Hope Street Improvement Project

The City of Prescott and their contractor, Asphalt Paving & Supply, Inc., are currently working on a utility improvements project. The project consists of replacing approximately 1,150 linear feet of water main, performing a sewer main repair, and installing drainage improvements, asphalt pavement, and curb and valley gutters along Hope Street and Warne Street, as highlighted on the map below.

Once complete, this project will enhance the drainage capabilities and upgrade the utilities that serve the local community. The project is scheduled for completion in spring 2020.

UTILITY INSTALLATION TO CONTINUE

Crews will continue installing a temporary flyline along Hope Street and Warne Street throughout the week.

Please be aware of the following impacts:

Monday, January 20 through Friday, January 24, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Please be aware of lane restrictions, reduced speeds, rough road conditions, and flagging operations throughout the work zones.

STREET PARKING AND ACCESS

To minimize conflicts with construction equipment, and expedite completion of the project, the City asks that you avoid on-street parking while construction is underway. Personnel will work with businesses and residents to maintain driveway access throughout the work zones.
