Kristy serves as Recreation Services Director for the City of Prescott, where she leads programs, parks, facilities, trails and community initiatives that enhance quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
A fourth-generation Arizonan raised in Willcox, Kristy has dedicated more than three decades to public service.
Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for collaborative leadership, creative problem-solving and a deep commitment to community engagement. Since joining the City of Prescott in 2025, she has focused on strengthening partnerships, advancing long-range planning efforts, supporting staff development and helping shape the future of recreation in the region.
Kristy is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP), former President of the Arizona Parks and Recreation Association, conference speaker, mentor and advocate for the profession.
She says parks and recreation are about far more than facilities — they create connections, improve health and wellness, foster belonging and strengthen communities.
When she’s not working, Kristy enjoys hiking Arizona’s trails, exploring small-town adventures, refinishing furniture, spending time with family and friends and continually investing in personal growth. Her greatest passion is helping people and communities thrive. Kristy’s mantra is parks and recreation connects people to people, people to nature and people to community.
