Summer is here, and Prescott Valley Parks and Recreation is ready for another season of fun in the sun! Don’t know how you’re planning on spending the warmer months this year? With programs, classes, events and more, there is always something exciting around the corner with us.
Are you ready for one more summer at Mountain Valley Splash? Join in on the fun in the sun with our Saturday Splash programs at the pool. Help us wave goodbye to our beloved public pool that has served the town for over 30 years, and join us for our themed open swim sessions. Get ready for a day of pirate-themed fun on June 27 and wave goodbye to summer with a Luau-themed Saturday Splash on Aug. 1. Don’t forget to register for swim lessons or aqua aerobics to round out the summer, or leave your mark on the facility with a paint handprint on a specified wall every Friday and Saturday of the 2026 season.
Celebrate the Fourth of July in Prescott Valley with Red, White and Boom! Get ready for a dazzling evening of live performers, food trucks, inflatables, carnival rides and a grand firework finale to round it all out on Saturday, July 4, at the Prescott Valley Civic Center.
Make sure to check out our event website before the event for information about parking, activities, the best spots to watch fireworks and so much more!
July is Parks & Recreation Month!
Whether it is our Parks staff keeping our parks and fields cleaned and maintained, or our Recreation team running programs and events, the department is composed of individuals who work tirelessly to continue to serve the community. Help us to celebrate our team and department by participating in a program that highlights the importance of Parks and Recreation in the community!
Visit our website at prescottvalley-az.gov for more information or rec.us/prescott-valley to register for a program or class today!
