Q: What is the biggest challenge of your job?
A: The biggest challenge of my job is the deep desire to always want to better my gym! It is a challenge because this has been a process over time since the day I created All Athletes Welcome Gym.
Resources, time and money have always changed the way things have gotten done, but the desire to better serve the public has always, and will always be there. So I feel blessed and grateful each day to have a challenge so fulfilling and meaningful.
Q: What is the greatest reward of your job?
A: At AAW gym we have such a great community of members, clients, travelers and trainers — it has been amazing to see the atmosphere of our space blossom into a unique training hub where so many folks are uplifted, educated and proud of the work that gets done.
I personally feel so blessed to know people on a deeper level as they challenge themselves physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. To have a space where I can witness people wanting to develop themselves is truly a gift.
Q: If you could have dinner with any 3-5 people
(dead or alive) who would it be?
A: I would have dinner with my grandparents and great grandparents. As I have gotten older I really value and see the importance of family. I would love to know more about their stories, how their lives were shaped, what challenged them and their beliefs and be able to see them thrive in their prime of life!
I love asking questions and getting to know people of all walks of life, and wish I could have more time with my family elders to do so.
Q: What is the last book you read; what did you enjoy about it most?
A: I read too much to answer this question, ha ha. I have too many books going at once and too many things I love about them, it would be a novel! But, fun fact about me is I don’t read fictional books, ha ha.
Q: What is your favorite Prescott activity?
A: I really enjoy Prescott for the horse riding trails! One of my favorite activities is to take the horses out for quality time with my girlfriends to discuss life, God, business, personal goals and, of course, have laughter echo off of the rocks and trees out there in nature.
Disconnecting from being “busy” is so important to me, and in Prescott it is right out the back door!
