Steve Booher, Co-owner, Prescott Shooting Range and Gun Club
A business owner and community-focused leader, Steve is dedicated to promoting responsible firearms ownership through education, training and community engagement.
He brings 20 years of experience as a retail manager, 19 years as a science teacher and coach and 30 years as a competition shooter. Steve is a certified NRA rifle and pistol instructor and has taken instructor development at Gunsight and Guardian Training.
As owner of Prescott Shooting Range and Gun Club, Steve applies this experience in leadership, operations and customer service to create a safe, professional and welcoming environment for individuals of all experience levels.
The core of his vision is a commitment to safety, disciplined marksmanship and ongoing training. He strives to elevate the standard of responsible gun ownership by creating opportunities for education and skill development. Beyond training, he is passionate about fostering understanding and respect of firearms ownership by encouraging open dialogue and reducing fear, misinformation and misunderstanding.
Steve’s leadership reflects a commitment to building a culture grounded in knowledge, respect and responsible practice. He also serves the community as an Arizona Ranger and is a member of his church’s safety team.
