Water is the new liquid gold. When I first saw water in a bottle, I thought, “Who in their right mind is going to pay for bottled water?”
Who would have thought, the water industry would be a multibillion-dollar business. In fact, worldwide over $100 billion is being spent each year. Bottled water today costs over 2,000 times the cost of tap water. Americans used 50 billion plastic water bottles last year, and sadly only about 23 percent get recycled.
