The 10th Annual “Wander the Wild” live Auction and Dinner is Sunday, September 23, 2018, 2:30 to 6:30 pm, now at the beautiful Windmill House in Chino Valley, 1400 W. RD. 4 N.
The Windmill House is situated on a private lake with luxurious lush gardens & lawns, easy access with plentiful parking.
Wander the Wild includes live music, a social hour with local wines and outstanding appetizers, and a delicious gourmet dinner meal with wine service. The live auction features outdoor related travel and adventure packages, educational field trips and nature inspired works of art by talented local artists. With local regional, national and international destinations, the auction is enthusiastically engaged as bidders vie for their favorites.
You may win a week in Tuscany, a Windjammer Caribbean Cruise, a Nicaragua beach retreat, naturalist led hikes by local experts plus many other new and exciting unique auction items.
Wander the Wild raises funds for children’s educational programs at the Highlands Center for Natural History in Prescott, AZ. This event enables more than 6,000 pre-school and elementary school children per year from Arizona communities to visit and spend a day in nature through onsite school field trips and other educational programs. As education funds have been cut in many school districts for field-based learning, the funds generated by Wander the Wild ensure children have the opportunity to visit the Prescott National Forest to discover and connect with the natural world through science-based curriculum that meets Arizona state educational standards.
